We hope you will come see us soon. Meanwhile, here are a few
photo's of Fred's Place. Perhaps they will wet your appetite - and convince you to
see Fred's Place in person.
Fred's Place is the brainchild of Cynthia A. Wadnola
(CEC) - who wanted to embark on a new venture after successfully operating Cynfre's;a bakery and catering facility and cafe
formerly located at the same site for fifteen years.
This new venture [Fred's Place] honors her husband Fred. The bill of faire is her husband's favorite foods; encompassing old fashioned
home cooking featuring local products in season and signature desserts.
Fred and Cynthia are hands on operators of Fred's Place. Fred can usually be found blending in with
the patrons; answering questions and providing interesting narrative about the service related decorations that adorn the walls of the restaurant and
making sure his guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. Meanwhile, Cynthia specializes in preparing her signature desserts; no frozen
bulk desserts here... just quality fresh made with the finest ingredients.
The decor of the restaurant features memorabilia from her husband days of service
in the United Sates Navy and the United States Naval Reserve;
spanning twenty-six years. The restaurant is decorated with
military recruiting posters from the past, pictures of ships and aircraft as well as various historic naval items.
Fred's Place also caters private parties upstairs at Fred's Second Deck.
